Pursuant to the last order, passed in this petition, the Director Education (Basic) has placed on the record a draft circular, which for the purposes of identification is marked as 'X'. In terms of the said circular, the Court finds that appropriate clarifications have been issued in the light of the decision rendered by the learned Judge on Writ Petition No. 58220 of 2016.
Sri K.R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel states that all concerned Basic Education Officers have been duly apprised that no cut off date as such operates and that all pending applications and those which may be made hereinafter shall be attended to an disposed of by the BSAs in the light of the circular referred to the Court. Sri Singh states that this draft circular shall be duly circulated to all BSAs latest by tomorrow.
In view thereof, this petition shall stand disposed of with a direction to the concerned Basic Education Officer to process all pending applications made by the applicants for filling up vacancies in their respective Institutions in the light of the circular referred to above. The above exercise shall be completed by the concerned BSAs with expedition and preferably within a period of two months.
Any orders that may have been passed by the concerned BSA negativing the claim of the applicant herein on the ground of cut off date operating shall stand rendered ineffective.
