Petitioner claims to be a senior citizen and was issued a golden card under Pradhanmantri Jan Arogya Yojana vide a particular I.D. In I.D. card, petitioner's name is recorded as Shatrughan Singh. His details, however, have not matched with other information inasmuch as in Aadhar card and other details petitioner name is recorded as Chuttan Singh.
Petitioner states that he has moved an application for correction in his name, but the authorities have not taken any decision in the matter.
Learned Standing Counsel has obtained instructions, according to which, petitioner's application has already been rejected and in the event petitioner applies afresh with correct details, his application shall be considered.
In view of the stand taken by respondents, we provide that in the event petitioner makes afresh application for registration under the Scheme, the third respondent shall ensure that appropriate action is taken on it, as per law, within a period of two months.
With the above observations/directions, this writ petition stands disposed off.
