JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner, who is the wife, seeks transfer of H.M.O.P.No.20 of 2016 filed by the respondent/husband seeking divorce on the ground of desertion, before the Sub Court, Pollachi, Coimbatore, to the file of the Family Court, Madurai.
2. Even in the Original Petition filed in H.M.O.P.No.20 of 2016, the wife is shown to be a resident of Bharma Colony, Thirunagar, Madurai.
3. It is also seen that the petitioner/wife has already initiated proceedings for maintenance in M.C.No.24 of 2017 before the Family Court, Madurai.
4. Hence, taking into account the convenience of the petitioner/wife, H.M.O.P.No.20 of 2016 is withdrawn from the file of the Sub Court, Pollachi, Coimbatore and transferred to the file of the Family Court, Madurai, to be tried along with M.C.No.24 of 2017. The Sub Court, Pollachi, Coimbatore, is directed to transmit the papers in H.M.O.P.No.20 of 2016 to the Family Court, Madurai, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. In the result, this Transfer Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered as above. No costs. Consequently, the connected civil miscellaneous petition is closed.
