A time barred restoration application was filed by the petitioners for recall of an order passed by the Consolidation Officer.
This restoration application was dismissed by the Consolidation Officer holding that against the order sought to be recalled an appeal, a revision and a writ petition had already been dismissed and thereafter the time barred recall application was filed.
In view of the facts and as the order has been challenged up to the High Court, the reason for the delay in filing the recall application was found to be incorrect and cooked up. Therefore, the restoration application was rejected as time barred.
This order has been affirmed upon dismissal of the revision filed by the petitioners.
Upon hearing counsel for the petitioners and upon a perusal of the impugned orders, I do not find any illegality therein. The orders have rightly been passed for sound reasons which call for no interference.
The writ petition is without merit and is dismissed.
