1. This writ petition is a letter sent by detenue from jail. It was said that he is in jail since 1977 and therefore, further period in jail be remitted.
2. Learned A.G.A. has filed an affidavit, stating in para 5 that petitioner Chhatrapal Singh @ Sumera has already been released from District Jail, Etah on 16.9.1995, after serving out 25 years of imprisonment.
3. In the circumstances, nothing survives.
4. Writ petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
