High Court Of Judicature at Allahabad|24 April, 2018
|

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 34
Case :- WRIT - A No. - 20306 of 2014 Petitioner :- Chandra Shekhar Singh Respondent :- Central Administrative Tribunal, Allahabad And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Anil Bhushan,Adarsh Bhushan Counsel for Respondent :- Govind Saran,Govind Saran,Sudhir Bharti Hon'ble Sudhir Agarwal,J. Hon'ble Ifaqat Ali Khan,J.
1. Called in revise. None appeared on behalf of the petitioner. However, we ourselves have perused the record.
2. Sri Gyan Prakash Singh, Advocate is present on behalf of respondent .
3. By means of present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs :
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order and judgment dated 10.10.2013 passed by Central Administrative Tribunal, Allahabad Bench, Allahabad in Original Application No.837 of 2007 (Chandra Shekhar Singh vs. Union of India and others).
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to fix lien of the petitioner in NCR, Head Quarter, Allahabad.
(iii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to absorb the petitioner in NCR, Head Quarter, Allahabad and to declare the result of written examination dated 25.8.2007, for which the petitioner has appeared for the post of Confidential Assistant.
(iv) Issue a writ, order or direction which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of the case.
(v) To allow the writ petition and award the cost in favour of the petitioners."
4. However, we ourselves have gone through the pleadings, ground as also reliefs sought and find that petitioner is not able to make out a case so as to justify interference of this Court by granting reliefs, as prayed for.
5. Moreover, it appears that either the cause of action no more survives or that petitioner has lost interest in this matter or it has otherwise become infructuous and, probably for this reason, none is interested to have decided this matter on merits and that is why, counsel for petitioner is absent.
6. Dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
