Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
This petition has been preferred for expeditious disposal of proceedings instituted under Section 9 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. It appears that the opposite party has entered appearance and has also filed a reply.
Bearing in mind the fact that the issue itself relates to marital discord, the ends of justice would merit a direction being issued to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Allahabad to endeavour to dispose of Matrimonial Petition No. 641 of 2017 with expedition and also consider whether it is possible for the parties to enter into a mediated settlement. It is left open to the petitioner to take further steps in this regard.
In light of the aforesaid, this petition shall stand disposed of. The Principal Judge, Family Court, Allahabad, shall endeavour to conclude the proceedings with expedition and preferably within a period of six months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
