This writ petition, inter alia, has been filed for the following relief;
"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing to the respondent authorities to connect the electricity connection for the Tube-Well of the petitioner within stipulated time, which this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper.
ii) Issue a writ, order or directing in the nature of Mandamus directing to the respondent no. 2 to decide the application dated 25.10.2018 of the petitioner for the electricity connection for the Tube-Well of the petitioner (Annexure No. 4)."
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
At the very outset, Sri Krishna Agarwal, learned counsel for the Electricity Department stated that the electric connection has already been granted to the petitioner on 6.11.2018, as such, no cause survives in the present writ petition.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed.
