Respondents Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider the appeal dated 06.11.2016 to rectify the wrong entries made in Old S.No.458/1, New S.No.238/4 to an extent of 0.569 Sq.mtr in Poongunam village and issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

Pleader O R D E R The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the appeal dated 06.11.2016 to rectify the wrong entries made in Old S.No.458/1, New S.No.238/4 to an extent of 0.569 Sq.mtr in Poongunam village and issue patta in his favour.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, within a time frame.
3. Mr.A.N.Thambidurai learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 06.11.2016, after giving notice to all the interested parties, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
