The writ petition has been filed for a mandamus commanding District Magistrate, Auraiya (respondent-4) to transfer the Arm Licence No. 4435, 315 Bore Rifle No. 92AB1084 in favour of the petitioner.
The petitioner has moved an application in this respect, which is pending before the Licencing Authority.
Without entering into the controversy involved in the writ petition, the writ petition is disposed of with direction to District Magistrate, Auraiya (respondent-4) to decide application of the petitioner for transfer of Arm Licence No. 4435, 315 Bore Rifle No. 92AB1084 , expeditiously, preferably within a period of two months from the date of producing a certified copy of this order before the concerned authority, according to provisions as provided under Rule 25 of Arms Rules, 2016.
