Heard the learned counsel for the applicant.
This Court vide order dated 31.12.2017 directed the Senior Superintendent of Police, Jhansi to consider the representation of the applicant for grant of security cover. Applicant claims to be former MLA, whose tenure expired in 2007.
On specific query, learned counsel for the applicant is unable to point out the threat perception of his life and property.
In view thereof, contempt petition is dismissed with liberty to the applicant to approach the competent authority, if he so advised.
