This writ petition is filed for the following substantive relief:
“It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue any writ, order or direction more particularly a writ in the nature of Mandamus by declaring the inaction in issuing the authorisation of Fair Price Shop No.299, Jamathota, High School, Krishnalanka-II, Vijayawada despite selection by the 1st respondent as arbitrary, illegal and unconstitutional and further direct the 1st respondent to issue authorisation of F.P.Shop No.299, Jamathota, High School, Krishnalanka-II, Vijayawada.”
On 22.06.2010, there was no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, the writ petition was directed to be posted under the caption “for dismissal”. Accordingly today, the case has been posted under the caption “for dismissal”. Even today, at the hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Therefore, it is reasonable to presume that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing her cause in the writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed in default.
As a sequel to dismissal of main petition in default, WPMP No.28648 of 2007 filed by the petitioner for interim relief is disposed of as infructuous.
