Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A. for respondents No. 1 & 2 and perused the record.
The instant petition seeks quashing of the first information report dated 17.7.2019, registered as Case Crime No. 1557 of 2019, at P.S. Sahibabad, District Ghaziabad, under Sections 147, 376-AB, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C., 5/6 POCSO Act and 3 (2)(v) & 3(1)(I) S.C./S.T. Act.
The allegations made in the first information report disclose commission of cognizable offence and it appears that those allegations have been supported in the statement recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C. Further, there appears medical report also to support the allegations. Hence, the prayer of the petitioners to quash the first information report cannot be accepted.
The petition is dismissed.
