The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the order dated 11.11.2020 passed in Writ C No.18165 of 2020 (Smt. Bhoori Vs. State of U.P. And 3 Others). The operative portion of the order is reproduced hereibelow:-
"Accordingly, we dispose of the present writ petition with a direction to the petitioner to approach the respondent no. 2 by filing an application within two weeks from today along with a copy of this order and in case such an application is filed, the same shall disposed of by a speaking and reasoned order in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt of the said application. "
Today when the matter is taken up, Shri K. R. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel placed before this Court a decision taken by the opposite party dated 18.02.2021, copy of the same is taken on record. Since order has already been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed as infractuous. However, in case applicant is still aggrieved it is open for the applicant to approach the authority concerned, if so adviced.
