Sri Shakti Swarup Nigam, learned Sr. Advocate assisted by Sri Karshit Nigam, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State-respondents are present.
The petitioner is raising a dispute regarding demand of interest by the respondent no. 2 i.e. New Okhla Industrial Development Authority on the amount due towards the premium. The allotment is of the year 2011. It is admitted to the petitioner that out of approximately Rs. 2 crores of total premium indicated in the allotment letter, petitioner had deposited only Rs. 40 lacs & odd.
The challenge in the writ petition is to the notices dated 28.5.2021 & 28.6.2021 which indicate that the dues towards premium and interest comes to Rs. two crores & odd.
Sri Kaushlendra Nath Singh, learned Advocate has put in appearance on behalf of the respondent no. 2. He prays for and is granted three weeks' time to seek instructions and file a short counter affidavit.
Looking to the above, we do not find it a fit case for grant of interim protection. Accordingly, the interim application is rejected.
