Heard the counsel for the petitioners.
The present writ petition has been filed by the petitioners praying for a writ of mandamus commanding the Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Kushinagar to decide Appeal No.1486 of 2021 (Bhola and others versus Gram Sabha and others).
The Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Kushinagar is directed to decide the aforesaid appeal within a period of six months from the date a copy of this order is produced before him, in case, there is no legal impediment in deciding the aforesaid appeal.
It is clarified that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the claim of the petitioners.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
