Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding/directing the Respondent No. 1 Commissioner Azamgarh Division Azamgarh, District Azamgarh to decide the Appeal No. 18/A, Computer No. C2012150000643 (Ram Adhar vs. Up-Ziladhikari and others) under Section 210 of Land Revenue Act, pending in the Court of Commissioner Azamgarh Division, District Azamgarh since 11.09.2012 expeditiously within specific fixed short period, according with law."
The petitioner is aggrieved on account of the pendency of his appeal directed against an order for demarcation passed on the application of the petitioner. This appeal is stated to be pending since the year 2012.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1/Commissioner, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh to decide the appeal as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
