The only prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing a direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.762 of 2014 within a time specified by this Court.
The suit has been instituted by the respondent against the petitioner and is pending since the year 2014. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that an order of temporary injunction is operating against the petitioner and it is for the said reason that the plaintiff is delaying the proceedings.
Having regard to the facts and the submissions made, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the trial court to decide the suit expeditiously, without granting unnecessary adjournments, provided there is no legal impediment.
