1. Heard Sri Sharad Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for the petitioner, Sri Parshuram Chaubey, learned counsel for the respondent no. 4 and learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
2. Despite time granted earlier, learned Standing Counsel states that he has not received instructions. Therefore, the petition is being proceeded with.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that with respect to the agricultural loan availed by the petitioner, he had applied for the benefit of Uttar Pradesh Government Crop Loan Redemption Scheme, 2017, and in that regard, he had made an application to the District Magistrate, Chandauli (respondent no. 2) on 18.05.2018, which is stated to be pending.
4. In view of the fact noted above, no useful purpose would be served in keeping the present petition pending or calling for counter affidavit. In absence of instructions received by the State, it may be assumed for the while that the application made by the petitioner is still pending to the District Magistrate, Chandauli. Therefore, the present petition is disposed of with the direction that the District Magistrate, Chandauli (respondent no.2) shall necessarily pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance with law, on the petitioner's application dated 18.05.2018, necessarily within a period of one month from the date of production of certified copy of this order. All recovery proceedings and other consequential actions, if any, may be taken in accordance with the decision made by the District Magistrate, Chandauli.
