Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(1) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no. 1 to decide the Case No. 1495 of 2018 and its new number as per the order sheet Case No. 06116 of 2018 (Badi Lalli. Vs. Sukhvir Singh) which is filed by the petitioner for mutating her name under section 34/35 Uttar Pradesh Revenue Act-2006, pending before him within a stipulated period of time as fix by this Hon'ble Court."
The grievance of the petitioner is that her mutation application filed on 07.12.2018 has not been decided till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 1/Tehsildar, Tehsil Puwayan, District Shahjahanpur to decide the mutation application as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
