Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner seeks directions for expeditious disposal of his partition suit filed in the year 2017.
It has been submitted that the opposite parties have put in appearance. However, this is not reflected in the order sheet of the proceedings filed on record.
It is admitted that no written statement has been filed and, therefore, it is clear that neither issues have been framed nor the parties have led their evidence.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Soraon, Tehsil Soraon, District Prayagraj to decide the partition suit as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 18 months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
