2. In this petition filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner interalia seeks a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to renew the Kerosene Agency granted to the petitioner.
3. On perusal of the averments made in the petition and after hearing the learned counsel for the respondent as well as by taking into account the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition with a direction to the respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner in accordance with the Guidelines and the existing Policy, in this regard, by a speaking order within a period of Eight weeks form the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today and communicate the same to the petitioner.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of.
