Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The sole grievance, which is raised on this petition, is for payment of salary for the period 05 May 2020 to 04 September 2020 during which an order of suspension operated against the petitioner. The record reflects that a final order of punishment has come to be passed on 11 January 2021. That only leaves the issue of payment of salary during which the petitioner remained under suspension. That issue would undisputedly have to be considered by the second respondent independently.
Learned Standing Counsel representing the second respondent stated that the claim of the petitioner for salary for the period during which the order of suspension operated, shall be duly examined and a final decision in respect thereof communicated with expedition and preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order.
Accordingly, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
