JUDGMENT / ORDER

This petition is filed seeking to quash the proceedings as against the petitioner in C.C.No.809 of 2017 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Alandur.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the first respondent and the learned counsel for the second respondent.
3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, both the parties as well as the first respondent were present in court today. A compromise memo has also been filed by both the petitioner as well as the second respondent. The defacto complainant, Bristy Rani, has also filed an affidavit dated 31.08.2017 before this Court, stating that she is willing to compromise the issue and she does not want to pursue the C.C.No.809 of 2017. It is further averred in the said affidavit that she had no objection in quashing the proceedings.
4.In view of the submissions made on either side and taking into account the compromise memo dated 31.08.2017, the proceedings in C.C.No.809 of 2017 is hereby quashed. The affidavit filed by the defacto complainant, Bristy Rani, and the compromise memo are hereby recorded.
5.Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is allowed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
