1. Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned counsel appearing for respondents, Mr. Shishir Prakash.
2. Petitioner is aggrieved by non payment of Family Pension to him after the death of his mother. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner's father late Dinnal Shah was working on the post of Technician Grade - I in the office of Executive Engineer, Coal Handling Division, Panki Power Station, Kanpur and he after superannuation died on 15.05.2014. His mother Hashrun Nisha was getting Family Pension but she also died on 07.06.2018. The petitioner is physically disabled. As per the medical certificate issued by the Chief Medical Officer, he suffers from 80 per cent disability. The petitioner's date of birth is 22.06.1986 and has made an application on 13.09.2018 to the respondent No. 3 along with all certificates as are necessary for grant of Family Pension, but no action has been taken by the respondent No. 3 in this matter.

Accordingly, without entering into the merits of controversy, this writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondent No. 3 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and pass appropriate, reasoned and speaking orders within a period of six weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before the authority concerned. In case some dues are admissible or Family Pension is admissible to the petitioner who suffers from 80 per cent disability, his claim shall be processed and Family Pension released within a further period of 6 weeks.
4. The writ petition is disposed off.
