The petitioners, who are defendants in Original Suit No.
499 of 1992 have filed the instant petition seeking a direction to the trial court to decide the suit expeditiously.
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that dates are being fixed for recording of evidence.
Having regard to the fact that the suit is of the year 1992, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to make serious endeavour to decide the suit expeditiously by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
