Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for the State- respondents and perused the record.
Instant writ petition seeks quashing of the FIR dated 4.1.2019 registered as Case Crime No. 0014 of 2019, at Police Station Shahbad, District Rampur under Sections 3/5/8 of Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act, 1955 and Section 3/11 of Animal Cruelty Act, 1871.
Allegation, in the FIR, is to the effect that on information, when the police party reached the spot, they recovered beef as well as other instruments used for slaughter and also found animals tied in a cruel manner and the complicity of the petitioner was disclosed as one of the person, who had escaped from the spot.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated and even he is not the resident of that village.
Be that as it may, there is no specific allegation in the writ petition as to why the police would falsely implicate the petitioner.
Under the circumstances, no case for quashing of the FIR is made out. The writ petition is dismissed.
