Heard Sri Sunil Kumar Yadav, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned AGA for the respondents-State and perused the record.
This petition for writ is before us to have a direction for expeditious investigation in Case Crime No. 0992 of 2016 pending investigation at Police Station- Kotwali, District- Etah, pertaining to the offence under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 IPC.
The first information report in question was filed at the police station concerned on 03.08.2016. The petitioner before approaching this Court also submitted a representation to the Senior Superintendent of Police, District- Etah on 19.04.2017. It is submitted that despite the submission of representation nothing has been done so far and the investigation is yet pending.
Having considered all facts of the case, we deem it appropriate to dispose of this petition for writ by directing the Senior Superintendent of Police, Etah to look into the matter personally and to issue appropriate instructions to the Investigating Agency to expedite fair and objective investigation and to file police report as per provisions of Section 173 Cr.P.C., 1973 as early as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date the petitioner produces a certified copy of this order before him.
With the directions and observations as above, this petition for writ stands disposed of.
