Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned standing counsel.
Learned counsel at the Bar has submitted that the word 'bamboos' is omitted from section 2 in clause (7) of the Indian Forest Act, 1927 by the Indian Forest (Amendment) Ordinance 2017 (No.6 of 2017) dated 23.11.2017.
In view of the above, the matter has become infructuous. The writ petition is thus dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
