Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The primary prayer made in the writ petition, reads thus:
“I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the First Information Report dated 06.01.2018 lodged by the Respondent No.3 against the petitioners in registered as case crime no.0012 of 2018, under Sections 366 I.P.C., Police Station Kotwali Mandi, District Saharanpur (Annexure No.1 to the writ petition.)”
Mr. Murtaza, learned AGA, on instructions, submits that the investigating agency has filed a closure/final report under Section 173 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, bearing no.10/2018 dated 02.02.2018 and in view thereof, this petition renders infructuous.
The petition is, accordingly, disposed of as infructuous.
