Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.
The only prayer made in the writ petition is to issue a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the pending appeal under the U.P. (Regulations of Building Operations) Act, 1958 filed by the petitioner against the order passed under Section 10 of the Act.
The order dated 01.2.2021 for admission of the appeal is on the record.
In view of the above innocuous prayer made in the writ petition, without entering into the merit of the claim of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide the said appeal, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
