From the Affidavit of Compliance tendered by Sri Ajeet Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the opposite party, the Court notes that the order dated 3 April 2018 has been passed dealing with the claim of the applicant on merits. The opposite party has taken the position that although the name of the applicant had been included in the list of prospective candidates in light of the Government Order dated 11 January 2003, no process for appointment on compassionate grounds has presently been initiated. He has consequently held that as and when such an exercise is undertaken, the claim of the applicant shall be considered in accordance with law.
Consequently, nothing further survives on this petition, which shall stand disposed of.
