2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.2.2017 and take action to lay the road after removing all the layers (existing roads) in the entire area of Sabari Nagar, Porur, Chennai-116.
3. The petitioner is a resident of Sabari Nagar Area and his plea is that the respondents are laying road without removing all the existing layers of roads. It is pleaded that if the new road is laid on the existing road, the road height will increase compared to the houses and consequently, during rains poisonous snakes, centipedes, lizards, etc. will enter their houses. The petitioner made representation on 15.2.2017 to the respondent authorities to remove the existing layers of road and thereafter lay new road. However, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition is filed for the relief stated supra.
4. On hearing the learned counsel for the parties, we direct the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 15.2.2017 and take suitable action in the matter in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.6190 of 2017 is closed.
