Grievance of the petitioner is that the application filed for firearm license on 22.11.2019 was not being decided and, therefore, a prayer has been made that a direction be issued to the respondent no. 2, the District Magistrate- Prayagraj, to pass orders on the application.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid application.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is being directed that the application filed by the petitioner on 22.11.2019 for the grant of firearm license be decided within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a copy of this order, if there is no other legal impediment. The copy of this order would be duly certified by the petitioner's counsel.
With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of.
