JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to allow the petitioner's union to participate in 13th Wage Settlement Negotiation proposed to be held on 07.02.2017 at Chrompet Workshop, Chennai and give sufficient opportunity to express their views during the meeting.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3. Mr.J.Gunaseelan Muthaiah, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. 13th Wage Settlement Negotiation proposed is already over. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the negotiation proposed on 07.02.2017 was adjourned sine die and that therefore, the petitioner's representation dated 15.07.2016, may be directed to be considered by the respondents.
5. The present Writ petition has become infructuous and hence the same is dismissed as infructuous. However, the representation of the petitioner, dated 15.07.2016 may be considered by the respondents on merits and in accordance with law. No costs.
