Heard Sri Sheshadri Trivedi, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri Ashish Pandey, learned A.G.A. for the State.
The only prayer made by the applicant is that a direction be issued to the court below to decide Sessions Trial No. 34 of 2010 (State vs. Arun Kumar Chaubey) arising out of Case Crime No. 301 of 2004, under Sections 147, 148, 149, 302, 120-B I.P.C. and Section 7 of the Cr. L. Act, P.S. Kotwali, District Ballia expeditiously within a definite period.
Considering the facts of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the applicant's case, this application U/s 482 Cr.P.C. is finally disposed of with a direction to the court below to decide aforesaid case in accordance with law without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of eight months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
