JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come to this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider and dispose of the pending appeal dated 15.02.2017 and 11.04.2017 preferred against the order of punishment of stoppage of increment for three years with cumulative effect passed by the second respondent in Pro.Na.Ka.No.17976/2013/K.I(1) dated 14.12.2016 in accordance with law.
2. Mr.K.Thangapandi, learned Government Advocate, taking notice on behalf of the respondents, sought some reasonable time to dispose of the pending appeal filed by the petitioner.
3. As the appeal preferred by the petitioner is pending for some time, the first respondent/appellate authority is hereby directed to consider the same on merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
