Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
Undisputedly, the only caste certificate which was produced before the respondents bears the date of 16 May 2016 whereas the last date for such a certificate was prescribed to be 16 February 2016 under the advertisement.
Bearing in mind the principles enunciated by the Full Bench of the Court in Gaurav Sharma and Others Vs. State of U.P. and Others; 2017 (5) ADJ 494, the Court finds no ground to issue the writs as prayed for.
The petition is consequently dismissed.
