This writ petition has been filed praying for the following reliefs:
"I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari for quashing the impugned First Information Report dated 30.07.2020, registered as case crime no. 160 of 2020, Under Section 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code, Police Station - Mau, District - Chitrakoot, lodged by Respondent No. 4 (annexed as annexure No. '1' to the writ petition).
II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondents not to arrest the Petitioner, in case crime no. 160 of 2020, Under Section 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code, Police Station - Mau, District - Chitrakoot."
It appears that the petitioner has already been enlarged on bail by the Judicial Magistrate, Mau, District - Chitrakoot by order dated 29.09.2020 in Bail Application No. 107 of 2020 (CNR NPCH 12 000 633 2020) (Anil Kumar Shukla Vs. State).
It further appears that the investigation is still pending.
In view of the aforesaid, we do not find any good reason to interfere with the impugned FIR, which, prima facie, discloses commission of cognizable offence. Therefore, without expressing any opinion on merits of the case, this writ petition is dismissed.
