Heard Sri Upendra Upadhyay, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
The contention of Sri Upendra Upadhyay, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the quota of foodgrains being released to the petitioner is not consistent with the policy of the State Government. The quota is being arbitrarily fixed by the respondent authorities. In this regard the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondent no.4. The respondent no.4 has not decided the aforesaid representation.
The only sole prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is that aforesaid representation may be decided within a stipulated time frame.
Learned Standing Counsel has no serious objection to the aforesaid prayer.
In the light of the aforesaid submissions at the Bar, the respondent no.4 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order along-with fresh copy of the representation.
With aforesaid observations present writ petition stands disposed of.
