The sole prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to respondent no.2 to decide W.C. Case No.18 of 2009 under the Workmen's Compensation Act, 1923 within a stipulated time.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that dates are being fixed for hearing.
Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the hearing, however, is not being held.
Accordingly, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to respondent no.2 to conclude the proceedings of W.C. Case No.18 of 2009 expeditiously, by fixing short dates, preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, provided there is no legal impediment.
