JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's online application dated 21.10.2016 seeking for Patta Transfer for the Survey Nos.1039/2B, 1039/2C, 1039/1, 1039/2A, 1041/1B, 1041/1C1, 1041/1C2, 1041/1D and 1041/2.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's application dated 21.10.2016 seeking for patta transfer, the respondent has not considered the same yet.
3. Mr.R.S.Selvam, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.10.2016 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
