Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:-
"(i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to decide and conclude the Mutation Case No. 1226 of 2016-17 (Amritesh Vs. Shanti Devi) within fixed time frame."
The petitioner is aggrieved because a mutation case filed in the year 2016 has not been decided finally till date.
Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the court concerned to decide the mutation case as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
