The petitioner, has made a prayer for the answer- sheet of the entrance examination of RET, 2016 for admission to Ph.D, at Banaras Hindu University. The petitioner, had initiated proceedings under the Right to Information Act, 2005, for the aforesaid relief. The matter has been finally disposed off, by the Chief Information Commission, New Delhi, in Second Appeal No.CIC/BANHU/A/2017/149412-BJ (Mr. Amit Kumar Singh Vs. CPIO & Assistant Registrar, Banaras Hindu University, Faculty of Commerce, Varanasi) Appropriate action has been taken by the Chief Information Commission, New Delhi, in this regard. No further interference, is required by this Court.
The writ petition is dismissed.
However, this Court is constrained, to observe, that the Banaras Hindu University, should strictly follow the directions of the Chief Information Commission, New Delhi, to comply with the Right to Information Act, in letter and spirit.
