This writ petition has been filed, inter alia, for the following relief;
"i) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus directing the respondent no. 3 to provide the benefit of supply of electricity to the petitioners on flat rate and accept the payment of electricity charge at flat rate as per G.O. dated 14.06.2006 read with order dated 11.07.2007 and rate schedule LMV-6 notified from time to time;
ii) pass appropriate writ, order or direction directing that the respondent no. 3 to produce the relevant records including withdrawal order of flat rate electricity supply and upon production thereof the same may be quashed.
iii) to issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of writ of mandamus restraining the respondent no. 3 from showing the difference of amount of rate schedule LMV-6 and flat rate charge and further restrained him from disconnecting petitioners power loom electricity connection."
After arguing the matter for quite some time, learned counsel for the petitioner has confined his prayer to the extent that the petitioner may be permitted to make a fresh representation before the concerned authority in respect of his grievances with a direction to the concerned authority to decide the same within a stipulated period.
Heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the record.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this writ petition is finally disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to make a fresh representation before the Respondent No. 3, Executive Engineer ventilating his grievances within two weeks from today along with a certified copy of this order enclosing therewith a copy of the writ petition and its Annexures and, if any such representation is made, the said authority shall make all endeavour to consider and decide the same by a speaking order in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within six weeks from the date of receipt of the said representation.
