This writ petition has been filed solely for a direction that the application/appeal being Appeal No.219 of 2020 which the petitioners had filed under section 42-A of the U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Act, 1953 on 7.10.2020 be decided expeditiously within a stipulated period of time.
Learned Standing Counsel states that all endeavour shall be made to decide the aforesaid application/appeal.
Under such circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, it is directed that the application/appeal being Appeal No.219 of 2020 (Amar Singh & Ors. vs. State & Ors.) pending in the Court of Settlement Officer (Consolidation), Bulandshahar be decided within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order after hearing the parties concerned, if there is no other legal impediment.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
