Respondents This writ petition is filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct R-1 and R-2 to consider the representation dated 05.06.2017 submitted by the petitioner President of Akhila Karnataka Lambani [Banjara] Maha Okkuta [R], Bengaluru, registered No.162/89- 90 vide Annexure-A to release fund Rs.12 lakhs as per requesting as a grant in aid to the Maha Okkuta under the Chief Minister Fund.
This Petition coming on for Orders, this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Sri. Danappa P. Panibhate, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri. Y.D. Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondent.
Petition is admitted for hearing. With the consent of the parties, the same is heard finally.
2. In this petition under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner inter alia has prayed for the following reliefs:
“a) Issue direction to respondent Nos.1 and 2 to consider the representation dated 05.06.2017 submitted by the petitioner- President of Akhila Karnataka Lambani (Banjara) Maha Okkuta (R) Bengaluru, registered No.162/89-90, vide Annexure-A to release fund of `12 Lakhs as per requesting as a grant in aid to the Maha Okkuta under the Chief Minister Fund.
b) Pass such other order/s this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the above case, in the interest of justice and equity.”
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned Additional Government Advocate submitted that the representation dated 05.06.2017 submitted by the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the aforesaid submission and in the facts of the case, I deem it appropriate to dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the Competent Authority to consider the representation dated 05.06.2017, if not already decided, by a speaking order within a period of four weeks from today.
5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
With the above observations, petition is disposed of.
