It is stated that petitioner's step-mother has died in harness on 6.3.2018. Apart from petitioner, she has left respondent nos.5 and 6, who are also her sons. It is stated that an application for grant of compassionate appointment has been moved, which has not been attended to so far. It is also stated that respondent nos.5 and 6 have no objection in case compassionate appointment is offered to the petitioner. Hence, this petition.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that petitioner's grievance shall be examined, in accordance with law.
In the facts and circumstances, this writ petition stands disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach respondent no.3 in respect of his grievance, noticed above, alongwith certified copy of this order, annexing therewith all relevant materials, within a period of two weeks from today. The authority concerned shall call for a report from the District Inspector of Schools concerned and after affording opportunity of hearing to respondent nos.5 and 6, the authority shall proceed to pass appropriate order, in accordance with law, within a further period of three months thereafter. In case compassionate appointment is claimed by the respondent nos.5 and 6, the same shall also be considered.
