A go-down owned by the petitioner was taken on rent by Government to store food-grains. The necessary note of rent was executed in this regard in the year 2012. The petitioner under the communication dated 16.02.2018 requested to the Divisional Food Controller, Azamgarh Division, Azamgarh to extend the period of contract which is going to be expire on 31.03.2018. The request of the petitioner under the communication dated 16.02.2018 has been forwarded by the Marketing Inspector to the District Food Marketing Officer, Ballia to do needful.
The grievance of the petitioner is that no steps have yet been taken on the application dated 16.02.2018 forwarded to the District Food Marketing Officer, Ballia by the Marketing Inspector on the same date itself.
Having considered all facts of the case, we are not inclined to interfere in the matter. The writ petition is disposed of by keeping the petitioner at liberty to pursue his case by availing appropriate remedy or by submitting reminder to the competent Authority.
