Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Standing Counsel for the respondent nos. 1, 2 and 3 and Sri Ajay Singh, learned counsel for Allahabad Development Authority.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioners have come to this Court claiming that their land was acquired being Araji No. 49- M situated in village Neem Sarai, Tehsil Chayal on 6.2.1987 but compensation has not been paid. It is to be noted that the petitioners are not the original tenure holders whose land is alleged to have been acquired. The petitioners claim to be legal heirs and now in 2019, the writ petition is being filed after more than thirty years and no plausible reason has been given with regard to delay. On this ground alone, the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as stale issues have been raised.
The writ petition is misconceived and it is accordingly dismissed.
